After years of networking, attending conferences, business trips, and handing out over 15,000+ business cards, I've come to a very interesting conclusion...
Business cards are useless. Don't get me wrong, I love a well designed business card on an excellent stock. But after years of handing these things out, I've realized instead of actually connecting with the person on the other side of the paper handshake, I was simply putting their cards into the "yes" pocket or the "no" pocket after an amazing interaction. That's it? That's what we do after making a solid connection?
And you know what happens next. We tell ourselves that we're going to follow up with that person and we achieve one of 2 outcomes:
1. We never reach out (and vice-versa).
2. We get an invite on Facebook or LinkedIn. Woot.
3. We try calling or texting... and we get crickets back.
For me, after spending time designing my cards, money to buy them in bulk, and the energy to network and hand them out... I've decided to save all of it and join the modern era of business.
I created the Virtual Business Card to save my time, money, and energy... to increase my response rate from important interactions, and grow my contact list 10-fold.
Now, instead of wondering if I'll ever get around to adding their contact info into my CRM or contact list on my phone, or having to spend $100's or even $1,000's in business cards... I can simply grab their card or ask for their number and boom... they've got my card!
Best part? They can't lose it. Or shouldn't, anyway :)
So, if you're tired of not getting the response you're looking for from all your paper-slinging, check out my Virtual Business Cards Here for only $10. We'll do all the design based on your specs, and you'll have an eco-friendly, stylish, and highly effective business card at your disposal 24/7/365.

If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that Michael is a genuinely cool guy. Yes, he's still a total goofball, and yes, he's super handsome. And yes, he's writing this description. Point made ;)
